Penelope Cruz: “Pirates of the Caribbean 4” Madrid Events

For the Photocall in Madrid, Penelope Cruz wore a stunning and simple Hakaan playsuit. I was pleasantly surprised by the texture and complexity of the design that is difficult to view from the dark background of the photo from the runway. She went minimal and only wore a few pieces by Chopard to accessorize. My only criticism is that the pants seem to pool by her feet. Just the slightest touch up and they would barely graze the floor which would just be the most dreamy length and complete the look.

For the premiere that night, Cruz wore a stunning Armani Privé gown, which could not be more different from the metallic red one she wore to the Munich premiere. While I prefer the boldness of the red Armani, this gown feels very Spain to me. With the intricacy of the beading and the flattering cut, I wouldn’t be surprised at all to learn that it was made by a local designer instead of a couturier God. Beautiful.
