Emma Roberts at “The Art of Getting By” After Party in NY

I have this completely ridiculous aversion to anything that hits mid calf. It’s not short, it’s not long. It’s just there. Especially on young girls it just gives me a squirmy feeling. This Temperley London dress is almost flawless to me except for the length. And her shoe choice. She definitely had it modified to be a bit longer, something I just don’t understand why a stylist would allow. The runway is a much better length — just below the knee still has that vibe she is aiming for with the weird styling that Roberts has as a side effect of the length. The shoes are just too shiny. The dress has character enough and while the color is nice, the Casadei pumps would have been much better in a muted silver rather than satin.
