Emily Browning at the 2011 Met Gala

May 4, 2011 § 1 Comment

Emily Browning made a fabulous choice with a modified Marc Jacobs dress — all that is missing is the chest covering piece. While I like the runway version better, she does look sweet and I completely understand the rationale behind not wanting a restricted and chest covered dress as a young girl. The dress definitely reminds me of Little Red Riding Hood which is fun. My real complaint is her clutch. It so does not work with this dress it’s not even funny. The competing material and pattern distract and I just think it really was a poor choice. The young star has done so well on the red carpet in the past month or so that I know she’ll continue with a strong foot forward.
