Sarah Jessica Parker at “The Normal Heart” Premiere on Broadway

Talking about multiple couture pieces in one look. That said, I don’t really care about it. SJP tends to wear Chanel jackets with couture pieces (see link below) when she dresses up. She doesn’t really match well — she definitely is not Carrie, is my point. She has style sense but the wild, crazy yet completely workable looks Carrie rocks episode after episode on SATC is completely missing. The jacket and the Lanvin dress are beautiful together but they’re kind of boring and simple. The shoes are Manolo Blahnik, of course. She looks shorter than usual as well — maybe that’s just me.

Miranda Kerr at “The Good Doctor” Premiere at Tribeca

Talk about some vintage fashion! Kerr stuns in a Fall 2005 Mouret gown. She’s really rocking her new body and it’s miraculous how good she looks. Her boobs are absolutely massive, that’s the new mom thing. She really works the dress with a pop of color with her pale pink Louboutin’s and the hottest accessory possible 00 hubby Orlando Bloom. They’re the most beautiful couple and I love her first red carpet look back! Talk about the baby with the best gene pool…it’s unbelievable.

Diane Kruger at the “Pieds Nus Sur Des Limaces” Premiere in Berlin

Diane Kruger wore a really similar No. 21 look — also lace and neon — from the pre-fall collection earlier. I didn’t like that look as much as this one, I found that the yellow washed her out while this pink is gorgeous. She’s got such amazing instincts. The intuition to pair the pink lace look with the pale blue Brian Atwood pumps is brilliant. She was simple yet chic with this look. the pleating in the lace, the way it bunches ever so lightly over her bust and up towards the belt is the genius in the simple look. The lingerie trend was huge this season and that is where this piece falls — under the lingerie and the neon fads. Stunning.

Eva Mendes at DKMS’ 5th Annual Gala

I was pretty surprised with this pick from Mendes. I don’t really understand her style — at least not yet. The dress itself is really unusual. It’s a princess dream dress with an edge — the flowing white contrasted with the ripped legs and the kind of destructed top. It looks like the top was cut off and fringed — not a criticism, I like it I just think Mendes tried to work it into something that it is not. I also hate the shoes. They’re Casadei and very heavy. They completely ruin the airy and light feeling of the dress which is the essence of the look. From the neck up, the look is absolutely flawless.

Leighton Meester at the Empire State Building’s Lighting in Honor of the 5th Annual DKMS Gala

Once again, Meester demonstrates her style aptitude with this amazing look that seamlessly combines chic and glamorous with casual and comfortable. This Vera Wang skirt from the Spring collection is ridiculously adorable and flattering on the young superstar. The way she works the unusual length of the skirt is impressive — that is a really tough length to make work especially with the unassuming style of it. I love the bunching around the hips where it folds over yet blends in because of the same pattern — it’s intricate and beautiful and one of those pieces that you like more the more you look at it. She paired this with just such a simple nude sleeveless blouse. It’s amazing. Her ombre-ed hair and the Brian Atwood pumps completed the look and it’s really beautiful. I love this. Meester is the star of Wang’s new fragrance so her plugging the line is expected, yet so tastefully done!

I really don’t have a lot to say of this but I do think it’s amazing. I love when you see simple looks from high fashion in everyday life — like Anna Dello Russo except to a lesser extent. This dress is gorgeous and so springy, it upped my mood! What about yours?

Princess Eugenie: The Royal Wedding

Princess Eugenie STUNNED in a simple Valentino coat and Philip Treacy headgear (same as her sister in Vivienne Westwood — a look I really dislike so will stop talking about). The sweet little belt is gorgeous and the and the entire look so tasteful with a small dose of glam with her unusual headpiece. I love the headpieces.
