Kerry Washington at the 42nd NAACP Image Awards

I’m going to start with a quick aside — I hadn’t looked at the Zac Posen Pre-Fall collection yet as it debuted when I was doing fashion week prep…I was really caught off guard by the way the pictures were taken. It was definitely an emphasis on photography over the clothing. Each piece is cut off before the bottom and the focus of each is on the model and her make up and styling and not the clothes. This definitely irks me, I don’t know about anyone else. Fashion is fashion and while on the runway pulling out all the stops makes sense, no designer would pull them out in a way that compromises the looks. Except Posen, that is. Just a thought.
Kerry looks stunning — the white is the perfect color on her. She is so radiant, and vibrant that it’s astonishing. She should always wear this color. The cut is perfect and, while I’m not a huge fan of the train on this dress it’s not so long or distracting that it’s bothersome — just a little strange.
