Michelle Trachtenberg at the “Take Me Home Tonight” Premiere

Mmm. I hate the idea of stylists — I like to think that when you see someone wearing clothes they are expressing themselves. I don’t care about personal shoppers — I get them. But stylists? Really, can you not piece together a top and a bottom? A dress and shoes?

Well, clearly not. For the first time in my life I would completely support the investment in a stylist. She keeps getting these beautiful pieces — ones with a clear style, the Chakras look she wore last time really could have been Marchesa — and screwing them up. She likes to look severe I think because she always takes it way over the top. This is a beautiful dress and can be beautiful on its own. Relax the greased back hair, change the horrendous satin shoes — and I won’t even get picky on the clutch because it’s manageable. That’s all for now — better luck next time Trachtenberg.
