Jennifer Damiano at the Tony Awards

Jennifer Damiano, new to the fashion scene as I have never seen her in anything like this before, wore a really gorgeous yellow dress. It’s funny how this unusual color is becoming really commonplace — with Blake Lively in her all yellow Chloë ensemble a few days ago, and now this. Also those mustard Charlotte Olympia satin pumps are having a real spotlight moment that I don’t think anyone saw coming. This is a bit of a fairy tale outfit but that is perfect for the occasion. The color that has the lovely layer of sparkle over it is a very Taylor Swift type outfit and that somehow completely works for me. While I wouldn’t have selected this for the Tony awards, thinking it is a very young look, it completely won me over!

Ashley Tisdale in Farah Angsana (a designer I was just exposed too) looking amazing, but a little faux-tanned if you ask me

Emma Roberts in Dior. I’m not the biggest fan of this look, I think that the dress is much more intriguing in the purple shown on the runway. Although, I do adore the Brian Atwood pumps she accompanied the dress with.
Katy Perry in a bold Betsey Johnson dress. I cannot think of one other person — even Gaga — who could pull off this look. Even the runway model is overpowered by the dress. Katy was nominated for best female artist, favorite song (for California Gurls), favorite pop artist, favorite music video (Teenage Dream) and for online sensation. Katy took the award for favorite female artist!
I am no fan of Kristen Stewart, but I am a huge fan of this Reem Acra look. Kirsten kept it simple and dressed it down a bit with the simple brown belt. Kirsten was nominated in a billion categories: favorite female actress (which she won by some huge stroke of luck), favorite on screen team (which she won as well with Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner), favorite movie stars under 25 (thankfully she did not take this one too) and Twilight was nominated (and won) best film and best drama movie…
One of my personal style guru’s, Leighton Meester in an adorable Vionnet dress. Leave it to her to work a simple day dress at a red carpet event and not make it seem inappropriate. Her show, Gossip Girl, was nominated for best TV drama.
Mila Kunis, rocking the first red carpet showing of a Pre-Fall J. Mendel look.
Minka Kelly in an utterly alluring and sexy Vivienne Westwood look. She, also, paired the dress with Atwood’s “Maniac” pumps in suede.
A pregnant Natalie Portman rocked Jason Wu’s Pre-Fall collection, a look that I completely overlooked when I first saw the collection but I love on her. She finished this elegant look with a pair of Dior pumps.

The night’s host, Queen Latifah, donned three looks from Edition by Georges Chakra’s Spring 2011 collection. She looked absolutely radiant and stunning in each of these.
The ever beautiful Taylor Swift wore the most beautiful J. Mendel look. She wore Prada tie pumps and a sweet little belt with the beautiful dress (which Natalie Portman wore on the cover of January 2011′s issue of Vogue). Swift was nominated for best female artist and took the award for favorite country artist.
Virginia Williams wore a really beautiful Oday Shakar look — one that Sandra Bullock wore in black in the fall to the MTV Music Awards.
Aly Michalka in a really, really fabulous Marios Schwab dress. She accompanied the dress with a Ferragamo clutch and Jimmy Choo embellished shoes.
“Nikita” star Maggie Q in Hervé Leger’s Fall 2010 line
The Kardashians! None of these were straight off the runway, but the clan is always noteworthy. From the left, we have Kendall in a BeBe dress. Kim is wearing a Catherine Malandrino dress that she hemmed. The longer version has been worn to by many other glam celebs. Kylie’s wearing a dress by wink and the newly redheaded Khloe is wearing Alexander McQueen. Kourtney, in a really unusual dress that I love, is wearing Gert-Johan Coetzee. The ladies won the “guiltiest pleasure” TV show award for their addicting reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians.I think my favorite thing about this picture, though, is that all five girls look as if they coordinated so that this shot would look amazing. There is definitely a color scheme.
