Isla Fisher on “Regis & Kelly”

It’s definitely a statement to make a public appearance in Dior right now — especially current Dior that is undeniably Galliano. It’s a sweet look on her, although a little too sweet for my taste. Very girly and youthful in kind of an off-putting way. I’m trying to think about the dress — more stuck on the message though.

Isla Fischer at the Premiere of “Rango” in LA

There is something about this look that just does not do it for me. Fisher looks great and the bright color of the dress is fabulous on her, but I feel as if the dress is wearing her rather than the other way around. It just has so much going on — so much draping, and  frills and everything that it distracts from her, and not in the way that a dress should. She kept the shoes very simple with Sergio Rossi flats — a move I don’t think was the best. She should have gone black and could even have made more of a statement. She let the dress run the outfit rather than making the dress into an outfit.

Isla Fisher at the “Range” Germany Premiere

This is unexpected and just so yummy. When I saw this dress on the runway in yellow I had no idea what a complete 180 it would be in a different color. It’s really cool in the yellow — very sexy, very intricate and very well made. In the red it’s just stunning. It is much more mature and has a lot of character. Fisher looked fabulous and paired her modified look with brown suede Louboutin’s.
