As an ambassador for the brand, obviously a post on Kruger & Chanel is obligatory…

Fan Bing Bing at the “Polisse” Premiere at Cannes

Is it possible for her to make a fashion faux-pas? Everything she does is amazing. The cape that is really a part of the sleeves is beautiful and unusual. Bing knows what she is doing and it’s obvious. The retro, curled hair makes this feel so old hollywood with the simplicity of the cut and the extravagance of the details. She accessorized with a Ferragamo clutch, although that’s an aspect that’s completely forgettable considering how amazing this dress is. Wow, that’s all I can say.

Blake Lively at the 2011 Met Gala

Oh she knows what she’s doing. Lively pulls the mermaid look once again in this unusual Chanel piece. The way the silver is inlaid into the material makes it look as if it is her skin — an elegant set of scales in some sense. The taupe is so airy and flows so beautifully, it’s breathtaking. How the dress drapes up doesn’t look as if it’s part of the dress, just magic. I love it.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley at Vanity Fair’s Oscar Party

Now this is glamour. The way that she wears it makes it look much different than on the runway. On the runway ti looks very Jennifer Lopez or Halle Berry, but here it is just so perfect for her. The color alone is amazing with the multiple subtleties in the wrapping on the bust. There is nothing wrong with this look — flawless.

Emma Stone at Vanity Fair’s Oscar Party

Wow. So the past few red carpets, Emma Stone has taken a very minimalist attitude. She is great with color but tends to err on the side of simple cuts and absence of embellishment. She wore the most beautiful pastel Calvin Klein and the most amazing red Lanvin look. For her first foray out of minimalism Stone really went all out. I love this and have one small complaint. I love the pattern and the intensity in the top — the swirls, the shine and the ruffled hem is amazing. The typical Chanel tweed skirt in eggplant is amazing and especially combined with the excitement in the top. I hate the little tail on the back. Just personally I always have a problem with this, I think it’s weird.

The Many Facets of Anne Hathaway’s Oscar Wardrobe…

1.

I think I can speak for almost anyone when I say Rachel Zoe outdid herself here — and this is a really unique, unusual and perfect number. Hathaway definitely felt insecure in it though, she was grabbing her stomach constantly.

2.

A custom made Lanvin suit — although to me this does not hold a candle to James Franco’s pink silk number.

3. Custom Vivienne Westwood

4.

My personal favorite from the show — Valentino excluded.

5.

A truly stunning Versace number — reminds me of the couture version of that Tibi mini dress…

6.

Shiny and ultra fab. Looks a lot like many pieces from the Spring collection

7.

And she ended in my least favorite of the night…

Keira Knightly at an After-Party for her play in London “The Childrens Hour”

I didn’t even recognize Keira Knightly for a moment. If I ever meet her, I’m definitely going to ask if she has a never ending supply of Chanel in her closet, because that’s certainly how it seems. I wish the lighting in this photo was better because the back draping of this dress is truly magnificent. You can see it in the runway photo the way that it is a kind of take on a train, just adds a whole new layer of elegance. There are beautiful little flowers dotting the collar of this which is gorgeous.
