Fan Bing Bing wears Elie Saab in such an elegant way. This dress reminds me a lot of Mila Kunis’ Oscar look this year. The delicate lavender and the floral piece at the top is beautiful. There’s such an easy grace to it. Bing Bing has been going more casual — or at least, casual for her — lately. Her hair has been down rather than the updo’s she generally opts for and her styles have been less edgy and more demure and feminine. It’s a lovely style for her and also nice to see her in a different light, from a different perspective.

This was one of my favorite pieces from this collection. The neutral stone color looks stunning on Li Bing Bing. The super high slit is sexy and alluring yet she pulls it off as demure and simple, a strong feat. My only complain is that it is a bit loose in the bust. It looks like it’s waving back and forth a little and while she looks stunning, this dress would definitely suit someone with a larger chest better. I love her jewelry — she accessorized stunningly. It does look a little bare on the runway without any accessories and Li’s addition of the strings of diamonds just accentuate the gown in an amazing and necessary way.

Fan Bing Bing wore a vibrant Elie Saab piece from last fall’s couture collection. Structurally, this is much simpler than she generally opts for. The color is intense and gorgeous though, it’s an intense blood red that contrasts her pale skin tone so beautifully. She didn’t accessorize or really do her hair, kept everything very simple and easy. It works. She looks so sweet in this piece.

this was my FAVORITE gown from the collection. Holy hell. This completely makes up for last nights strange Dolce & Gabbana disaster. The patterns on the dress and the simple black lace — perfect. Amazing. Stunning. Gorgeous. Simple. And without a doubt, comfortable. This is amazing. My favorite look SJP has ever rocked.

Is it possible for her to make a fashion faux-pas? Everything she does is amazing. The cape that is really a part of the sleeves is beautiful and unusual. Bing knows what she is doing and it’s obvious. The retro, curled hair makes this feel so old hollywood with the simplicity of the cut and the extravagance of the details. She accessorized with a Ferragamo clutch, although that’s an aspect that’s completely forgettable considering how amazing this dress is. Wow, that’s all I can say.

Aishwarya Rai at the Cannes Opening Ceremony

The former Miss World looked absolutely amazing at the Opening Ceremony for Cannes. I think that this dress looks better on her then on the runway. Her skin tone and figure flatter this dress in a much different way. The intricate embellishing that is throughout the dress is amazing and the peplum piece under the belt is less dramatic than on the runway and I consider it to be a vital component of the dress.
