Alessandra Ambrosio is the latest (and hopefully one of the last) to wear a piece from this collection…I keep updating my MVP post and am unceasingly stunned by how many pieces from this absolutely massive collection have been worn on the red carpet alone. Ambrosio, of course, looks absolutely phenomenal. Only an Angel could turn this overdone collection into something new. She wears this dress with attitude that’s missing on the runway. I love this…and she looks amazing. Job well done for an overused collection!

While I am completely sick of this Dolce & Gabbana collection, I give Alba a pass. She does happen to be pregnant and I cannot imagine that dressing for events can be really tricky in this state. This is a simple yet beautiful look. She looks so beautiful pregnant, she is just completely radiant and stunning, she glows and all of the other cliched pregnancy adjectives.

Everything about this look is effortless. She’s gorgeous and works that dress better than the runway model yet she doesn’t look full of herself. If I were her I couldn’t go anywhere without flaunting those natural assets. She is just the ideal model in my mind. I love the bold print her Sergio Rossi sandals. A perfect look.

Personally, I think SJP overdid it for this event. While this collection is overplayed, the pieces do stand on their own. They don’t need this overload of accessorizing. I’m a fan of letting the outfit speak for itself and this is definitely not speaking for itself. With the belt and the strings, and strings of pearls it feels like she’s trying too hard. The way it was styled on the runway was very Parker’s style so I don’t see why she didn’t copy that with the cross-body bag that she always opts for and very Carrie earrings.

Roitfeld turned a simple, feminine Dolce & Gabbana dress into a piece of real style. The Miu Miu pumps with the red look stunning with the lace and bring a real edge that no one has yet to do with anything from this collection. I was surprised to see her in this dress, it’s simple and she rarely goes simple. But I love it nonetheless. She turned it into something really unusual.

The drop dead gorgeous Victoria’s Secret model was next in the long line of celebs to wear Dolce & Gabbana’s spring collection. A huge percentage of these have made it out on the red carpet. Compared to the maybe four or five (if they are lucky) publicly worn pieces designers get per collection, this spring collection is heading close to twenty — a quarter of the looks shown in the enormously expansive collection. I think Rosie looks adorable — she is truly an angel (unintentional pun).This dress is shortened a bit from the runway version but it suits her this way.

I know, it’s this collection again. To be honest, this specific dress does nothing for me. I specifically hate the shoes. The Jimmy Choo’s are silver and braided and a kitten heel — please, hold your disgust. Thurman is on the jury for Cannes so she’s going to be rocking couture left right and center for the next eleven days. I hope she’s taking it easy for this first event because I will be utterly disappointed if this is her theme.

Dawson was breathtaking at this MoMa event. My favorite thing about these sheer, embroidered dresses is how elegant they are while still being modern and flattering. Her shoes are Dolce & Gabbana too and they happen to be most likely my favorite I’ve ever seen. She stuns.
