Li Bing Bing at the Shanghai Film Festival Opening Ceremony

The embroidery in this Khan piece is gorgeous. It is intricate and elaborate and perfect for both Li Bing Bing and this event. While this is a fall look, because of the way that the style ties Bing Bing to the aura of the event I think it is completely perfect. The colors are deep but the embroidery and theme behind the dress is more important. The necklace isn’t perfectly suited to this dress but it is so subtle and downplayed that I think it is not bad.

Fan Bing Bing at the Shanghai Film Festival Opening Ceremony

This is a shade that pretty much only Bing Bing can pull off. The elegance and innocence of the pale lavender is miraculous on her. She wore an Elie Saab in this shade to Cannes (see below) and it had such a similar amazing effect. The ruffles along the bust distract a bit from her face and her hair is lying a bit awkwardly but I think that’s all a side effect of a poor picture. Really beautiful, I hope she wears more like this to Shanghai.

Kirsten Dunst at the Closing Ceremony for Cannes

Believe it or not, this is the end of Cannes. There weren’t many looks from the closing ceremonies, but I thought Kirsten Dunst knocked it out of the park. This dress is absolutely perfect on her with the sequins and the tulle. It’s like feathered over the raggedy ends and looks stunning on her. She ruined the look with her Valentino pointed toe heels. They’re so severe and distract. This is a delicate look and she went for harsh with the footwear. I’ll say it again, people say black goes with everything but it is so not the case.
